Strategic MarketHow to Read Odds
Three odds formats are used in cricket betting — decimal, fractional and American. All three express the same probability; only the way they are written differs.
Example 1 — ৳200 bet on Team A: Decimal 2.25, fractional 5/4, American +125 — all three mean the same thing. If Team A wins, the return is ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 original stake); if Team A loses, ৳200 is lost.
Example 2 — ৳200 bet on favourite Team B: Team B's odds are 1.80 in decimal, 4/5 in fractional and −125 in American (a minus sign means how much you need to stake to win ৳100). On a ৳200 bet, if Team B wins the return is ৳360 (৳160 profit).
